Agency’s devices
The Regional Agency for Project Implementation is managed by the Supervision and Control Committee under the chairmanship of the President of the Regional Council. This committee is composed of members who carry out their duties, and they are as follows:
- Two members of the regional council office appointed by the president are:
- Mr. Al-Arabi Al-Mahrshi
- Mr. Rafik Balqarshi
- A member of the opposition factions appointed by the Council is:
- Mr. Abdel Hamid Mesbah
- Chairman of the Region’s Budget, Financial Affairs and Programming Committee, who is:
- Mr. Muhammad Al-Sufyani
- Chairman of the region’s economic, social, cultural and environmental development committee, who is:
- Mr. Abdul Hamid Al-Hussein
- Chairman of the region’s soil preparation committee, who is:
- Mr. Ahmed Al-Debouni
In order to exercise its duties, the Supervision and Monitoring Committee has the powers stipulated in Article 134 of the Organic Law relating to entities, which are as follows:
- Establishing the agency’s work program
- Determine the annual budget and multi-year projects
- Accounting and reporting in allocating results, where appropriate
- Approving the accounting and financial statements related to the agency’s finances
- Determine the platform for agency users
- Approval of the agency’s organizational chart
- Approval of the annual report stipulated in Article 139 of the same law.
- Requesting inspections, monitoring and evaluation operations when necessary.
