Office of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region Council
On September 20, 2021, immediately after the election of the President of the Regional Council, the Council of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region elected eight vice-presidents as well as the Clerk of the Council and the Deputy Clerk for the term of the Council’s mandate:

Article 18 of Organic Law No. 14.111 relating to regions specifies the number of these deputies who, along with the president, constitute the office of the regional council at 8 deputies for regional councils whose members number 57 or 63 regionally elected members. For reference, the number of current council members is 63 members.
The Vice-Presidents shall be under the responsibility and supervision of the latter; Signing by authorization in the name of the President, except for what is related to administrative management and ordering disbursements. They can also exercise some of the President’s powers by authorization from him, provided that the authorization is limited to a specific sector for each deputy, in compliance with the provisions of the aforementioned regulatory law.
